As of August 1st, 2018, Bishop David Assigned Fr. Bo Nahachewsky as Pastor of Dormition Parish for a five year term. Fr. Danylo, the former pastor is being assigned temporarily to the Reed Deer parish of St. Vladimir, then upon the retirement of Fr. Anton he will become the pastor of St. Georges parish in Edmonton.
Fr. Bo has was ordained a priest for the Eparchy of Edmonton in 2003, and has been a consecrated iconographer since 2002. He studied Theology at Holy Spirit Seminary via the Metropolitan Andriy Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies in Ottawa. He was assigned as pastor of Lloydminster and District, and Vermilion and district from 2003 till 2013, then was transferred to St. Stephen Protomartyr Parish in Calgary from 2013 till 2018.
He was born and raised in Saskatoon as the youngest of six brothers, and a devout Roughrider fan. He is married with three children, and loves to spend his time working with youth and children.
